Impose new gas and oil pipeline regulations

To require the owner of an oil or gas pipeline to ask for permission and receive a site location permit from the state Public Services Commission. Other bills in this package and other existing laws require pipelines to get additional permits from other state agencies. The bill is part of a package comprised of Senate Bills 1540 to 1550.
