To transfer programs currently managed by the Department of History, Arts, and Libraries to other state departments, mostly the Secretary of State. The legislative package (Senate Bills 503 to 527) would abolish the department, but retain almost all of it’s programs, as provided in a budget recommendation and executive order from Gov.
