Increase nonprofit filing fees

To give the Department of Labor and Economic Growth the authority to increase without additional legislative authorization certain nonprofit corporation filing fees. The bill would immediately increase the fee from $10 to $20.

The fees were “temporarily” increased by a previous legislature, and under current law will go back down after that date. The bill would extend the higher fees ($20 instead of $10) until September 30, 2012.
