To authorize a Single Business Tax credit of up to 10 percent of the amount an ethanol processing plant spends on “innovative technologies” that lower the cost of converting corn or biomass into ethanol, up to a maximum of $250,000. Note: The SBT expires seven months after the bill was introduced.
