Revise architect or engineer suit statute of limitations

To revise the statute of limitations for malpractice lawsuits against an architect or engineer (currently, six years after the completion of the project, with some exceptions) by adding a provision that the suit must be filed within one year of the alleged defect being discovered or from when it should have been discovered.
