Revise wetland improvement permit application procedures

To extend the provisions proposed by House Bill 6162 to additional activities requiring a permit from the Department of Environmental Quality, including dredging, marina permits, filling in wetlands contiguous to a stream or lake, building a seawall, and more. HB 6162 would to require the DEQ to meet and review a permit application with a property owner if requested, at the site or in the DEQ office, and any agreement reached at the meeting would be binding on the department.
