Establish new identity theft regulations

To prohibit a person in the conduct of trade or commerce, from retaining all or any part of a consumer's credit card or account number for more than four years after a credit card purchase was completed, or for more than the retention period established in any agreement between the person and the credit card issuer, whichever is longer.
