To allow school districts to conduct their own elections, thereby repealing the provision of the 2003 <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2003-HB-4820">election consolidation package</a>, which eliminated the parallel school elections system, and requires all school elections to be run by municipal or county election officials, with the same absentee voter rules, polling places and other procedures as all other elections.
