Introduced in the House

June 24, 2004

Introduced by Rep. Andy Meisner (D-27)

To require licensure and regulation of interior designers and impose $50 annual license fees. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 6052 to 6054. Together these would create a Michigan Board of Interior Design to establish licensure and competence assessment requirements for licensees. License applicants would be required to pass a test or meet certain experience criteria established in the legislation.
