To authorize an additional $15 fee if an applicant for a carry concealed weapon (CCW) permit requests that a local police agency take the required fingerprints, rather than the county sheriff department. The bill does not reduce the $15 portion of the $105 CCW permit fee which is paid to counties to reimburse them for the expense of providing fingerprints.
