To transfer administration of the newly created Michigan Commission on Asia from the Department of History, Arts and Libraries to the Department of Education; transfer the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) from the Department of Management and Budget to the Department of Education, and place the Michigan Virtual University under the Department of Education. The legislation is part of a package comprised of House Bills 6455 to 6458, which transfer several education-related programs to the Department of Education.
