To exempt from certain state law enforcement certification requirements Sergeants at Arms of the Michigan House of Representatives or Senate who are designated by the legislature as a police officers with arrest powers, as proposed by House Bill 5341. The bill is tie-barred to House Bill 5341 (meaning that bill must also pass for this one to go into law).
