Wall Street Journal says the ethanol lobby is gearing up to ask for a $1 billion bailout and $50 billion in loans because -- even with current price supports and $25 billion already sunk in taxpayer handouts over the last 20 years -- it can't compete. I'm thinking that I already gave at the office...

The bill is now on its way to the governor, having been overwhelmingly approved by all but four lawmakers (3 in senate, 1 in house.)
