Yes. Provided the lockout gets worked out in time.

The numbers are virtually the same over the last 3 years. There hasn't been any dramatic increase as a result of the law change. That's the point. I have no reason to believe that the death toll would have been dramatically lower if the law DIDN'T change going by the previous years numbers. But there is no satisfying you. That's fine

Is the legislature planning on passing this before the end of the year?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I've been busy working and enjoying the last 6 MONTHS OF FREEDOM!! I believe that was from a Det News article. According to the OHSP the stats are in for 2010, 11 & 12 from 1-1 thru 8-31. In 2010 there were 97 fatalities during that time frame. In 2011, there were 89 fatalities. This year there were

July 12th marked the 3-month anniversary of freedom! Michigan has had 33 fatal motorcycle accidents so far this year. 19 with helmets, 14 without. This time last year there were 47 fatal accidents! Keep in mind this year we have had a warmer spring and a dryer summer.

Quote; "If you don't have a record you can run on, you have to make your opponent into something voters run away from. The best way to do that is to make small issues into big ones." Candidate Barack Hussein Obama, 2008. Notice who can't run on his record this time around!

My point exactly cschenck. Prior to the change in the law, if people wanted them bad enough, all they had to do was cross the state line.

Don't know what the Governor was thinking on this one. Seems like a no-brainer to me. You need ID to drive a car, cash a check, go to the doctor, attend Democrat conventions and many other things in everyday life. Needing ID to vote doesn't seem like to much to ask. Don't agree with the Gov on this one but he is still light years better

Stop whining! If you want to live in a state void of personal liberties, might I suggest NY or CA.
