Another piece of useless legislation wasting time and energy when the state faces many more important issues. Commercial Vehicles are governed by FMCSA / DOT why is this even necessary? Or do the promoters of this want to just jeopardize the SAFETY of the motoring public by working their employees beyond the proven limitations of SAFETY...

I'll tell you why, because of the mis-guided moralist society, constructed by the religious bigots that's why..

So what if it was? The point is there are many children who need a good and caring home, a place they can call their own, and people who would help them to prepare for the world they will need to face. As long as the people provide a loving caring teaching home what difference does it make?

This has got to be one of the most insane pieces of legislation to come out of our legislature in a long time. Well maybe not in a long time but this one is at the top of the list..

Since when and why does the State Government thnk they can pre-empt the Federal Protections mandated by Federal Law? This just dosen't make any sense to me. I agree, State Government needs to butt out of the Federal Protections in place to protect those with these diseases. A classic example is the release in a Police Report of a persons HIV status

So then Truckingal, it's ok to call a black person a F&%ING N@##$R when you are kicking the sh*\t out of them or shooting them? Or how about shouting any one of the many racial slurs when someone is chasing them with a club? I think that would be creating special rights for a special group of people, wouldn't you? This is a great Idea, but is the state in a position to give out subsidies? And besides, What cars are totally made in America anymore? I can't think of any.

This idea is all well and good but who is going to pay for the development, artwork, and manufacture of the plate? Let's offset the cost to the state first and then give the net profit to Ducks Unlimited. Little forthought would be in order on this one I think...

Why in the world do we need this kind of legislation? IT just floors me that lawmakers in the State of Michgian waste time on stuff like this. They must sit at breakfast and wonder, "what can I do today to make someones life miserable, or cost the tax payers more money" Get down to the business of runing the business of the state please..
