Good Idea, I know of no one-other than public agencys that figure OT (or unused vacation) into retirement benefit calculations. I also have doubt about the vacation record keeping system of some agencies. I have read where Bennys are figured on the highest 5 of the last 19 etc. and it seems some of these guys never took a vacation in the last 5 years

When did Michigan start "licensing" pistols? These schools are springing up like mushrooms in this economy and many students are going deeply into debt thinking these schools will lead them to a job, but do little except take their money and/or sell them products. This will probably die in commitee. Too many politicians are beholden to the education lobbys and I'm sure they would be reluctant to want that information made public. Also, why not include community colleges in the bill. I would be interested to see how many are paying for two presidents.

Might just as well repeal it. No one was enforcing it anyway. The only time it was used was as an excuse to stop cars and look for other violations. If they wanted to arrest people for that-they would have a lot of handicapped parking card people in court.

Why didn't they just appropriate funding instead of eliminating the program? Does this now mean that a lobbying organization can hire whoever shares their goals to submit "proof" to the DEQ and tie up projects indefinitely?
