Altering this bill is a good thing but it should be altered out of existence! I can't believe it passed in the first place and am very dissappointed in the legislature and the Governor for signing it. Once again, the exact wrong thing at the wrong time! Sheesh!

Just one more piece of evidence that there is no such thing as a "temporary tax". This legislation was already reprehensible, to extend it and make it permanent is unthinkable. Are we to balance the budget on the backs of the poor, while making it impossible for them to work because their licenses are suspended due to non-payment of fines

Government jobs are not jobs. They are paid by taxes, not economic activity. I guess the definition of "sanity" has wiggle room, as well...

It is not the right economic climate in this state to expand the duties of any part of state government!

We vassals are so appreciative of your generosity. Get rid of these onerous, "temporary" fines and do it now!

I agree wholeheartedly with your post and wish that you registered so I could follow your other posts. It's a relief to find other like-minded voters in this State!
