Unless I missed something, this is an INFRINGEMENT based on NOTHING. I haven't heard of any library shootings. Has this happened? Or is this a solution looking for a problem? Rep. Andy Schor is grandstanding -- this is nothing but pure political gamesmanship. If he was SMART, though, he'd realize that Michigan's responsible gun owners and CPL holders vastly outnumber a few timid library curators and lackeys who get queasy around guns. THINK, Andy: nobody is LESS safe when you allow law abiding citizens to be in any given area with their guns. On the other hand, when you DO prohibit the law abiding, it does NOT stop CRIMINALS from bringing their guns wherever they want! WHICH IS MORE DANGEROUS?
