With all of Michigan's economic issues, this is something that our elected officials chose to spend time on? Changing the law by 2 days? Of what value is the law, if you are going to change it to accommodate the circumstances of a specific year? If the need is justified, for the year 2012, then change the wording to accommodate the special circumstances, not the year. If somebody (committee) screwed up, and they cannot meet the 60 day limitation, then sorry, no convention for you!
