    2011 Senate Bill 335 (Clarify taxable software definition )

    Introduced in the Senate on April 26, 2011, to clarify that a right that has been granted to another person allowing the use of “prewritten computer software” is not exempt from sales tax

    The vote was 38 in favor, 0 opposed and 0 not voting

    Finally the Representatives understand the increasing need to regulate everything that surrounds the Internet and the Software world. IT Connectivity can be a weapon in both a good and a bad way, so I think bills like these are very welcome nowadays with all this boost of information.
