Three hours off, with pay!?! We have very accommadating voting hours and EVERYONE is entitled to an absentee ballot. So why is this legislation necessary?? It is just adding another burden to employer, without any offsetting benefit to the state, the employer or the employee.

Democrats are milking the system.  The polls are open long enough that citizens can go vote on their own time.  Or there's absentee ballots.  Making the employer pay someone for work NOT done.... state sponsored slavery.

As a taxpayer in Michigan...................never happen!  Get out of bed an hour early that day and go vote just like everyone else.  Entitlement lovers nver cease to amaze me!  Barack Obama and Saul Alinsky in his grave seem nodding in approval.
