     This measure is well intended. However, why do we need to register handguns in Michigan?

    Most other states do not require this. In addition, most law enforcement agencies granting permit to purchase

    documents charge a fee for that "service", thus making it a tax on purchasing a firearm.

    We took a step in removing the "safety check", now we need to get rid of the rest of it. We have the most 2nd

    amendment friendly legislature I can remember. It's a shame they have not done more to clean up this states

    old, outdated, firearms laws.

     This a great piece of legislation and I'm placing money on this one that AG Eric Holder has tight rear end right about now. 

    Lets get this through and pass it !

    Yeap! Should pass! The only ones who would object would be liberals and gangsters themselves!
