This is positive legislation that will protect the taxpayers from people who try to game the system using power tactics with scrupulous lawyers. There are already laws and languages in place to protect true and actual injured employees. The only difference between S&A payments for being off sick and Workmens Comp. (injured) is that Comp. payments are not taxed "for the most part".
People who oppose this legislation should turn their heads towards the ones who have brought this legislation front and center and are gaiming the system.
