Why don't we have schools funding based on current year only? Schools districts and their respective bargaining units need to work together to make the schools run efficiently. It makes no sense to base a schools budget on prior year attendance. Businesses don't operate that way, so why should schools?
While we are at it, consolidate some of the small school districts with 2-3 schools with neighboring communities and reduce the administrative overhead.
