Can't imagine anything more silly than this.
How can you ever expect anyone to decide what jobs are worth what? Absolutely impossible.
Even workers on an assembly line have different skills and add different values to the work, and should command different wages. A nurse in a doctor's office has a very different job than a nurse in charge of a separate unit, or working in neo-natal surgery. Will this automatically repeal senority differences? A bank teller with 20 years experience makes the same as one with two weeks experience? What is "essentially the same?" Other than identical work of identical twins (which doesn't exist), I don't see how you can possibly equate jobs and abilities as an outside third-party.
