How nice! Wow! You have to pay 20% of your health care if you're in office for six years, then get 100% of your health care after age 55. You sleazy ***. What the hell are you doing in Lansing but feathering your own nest?

It's about time the legislators get a taste of their own medicine.  Now, they need to go many steps further and eliminate their life benefits following such a minimal amount of "service".

Pay 20% of their health care benefits, that is a far cry from how the average Joe lives, it more like 50 or 60% with very high deductibles and co-pays.  Even if we work our entire career we are not lucky enough to receive health insurance benefits.  They should have to live like we, Social Security, pay into your own retirement and pay for your own insurance & try to make ends meet.  They talk about school teachers and their pay and only working 9 months a years?  Look at all the benefits legislators receive off the back of the working class people but yet they continue to take more from us.  What gives???
