Senate Bill 286 is not prudent practrice at this time in our financial history. I object to using union wages as the "gold standard" when finding contrators to sanction for not paying a "union wage". It would serve a better purpose to count violators of safety issues than "violators" not paying a union wage. Michigan can no longer afford to have unions rsetting the wage standards for us. Cost overruns and budget busting expenses are two items that seem to go together when unions are involved.

Michigan needs freedom from union control to achieve fiscal increases.
