I support this bill and it should be passes, yuet should never have been brought forward.  It is rediculous how we have to pass so many bills to protect certain rights that already exist.  DNRE's actions were stupid as well as sgreedy.  This was nothing more than a money grab.  I believe they knew absolutely well that this guy was not bating deer and it was great that the judge rfecognized it for what it truely was, a sham DNR thought they could get away with.  I believe we need to have a bill passed to overturn the stupid baiting law.  I know a lot of people would be unhappy with this but I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for a licenses to bait.

I guess it don't matter weather you feed the birds or Deer anymore because the DNR has WIPED out the deer heard in Michigan and if  a person was just feeding the birds and by some chance a deer walk by do you think the deer will not eat the food if so you DNR officer have rock in your head.

The deer feeding ban was stuiped in the first place.  The deer that had the disase was in captivity. Do you think the wild deer might eat together in a hay field, corn field, carrot field, or apple orchard. thank you your friend charke

Well, I'm headed to court again on March 24th for a trial on "deer feeding/baiting".  I live in Red Oak (Lewiston) in the middle of a "section" of woods.  I have cows, turkeys, chickens, guineas, pigeons, and quail.  My livestock "free range".

This one day for about half hour plus, an airplane flew in a circle over my property.  Then a DNR officer pulled up in a truck.  He asked about the corn in the yard.  I explained that "3" days ago, I had picked up 3 100 lb bags of corn.  I also picked up gasoline and kerosene.  Some kerosene spilled on one of the bags of corn, so naturally I had to spill the tainted corn out cause the livestock wouldn't eat it (common for farmers).  After three days out there nothing was eathing it.  DNR wouldn't hear of it, wouldn't smell or taste the corn.  Wrote me a citation.

Went to court and found out it's 90 days in jail, $500.00 fine, a misdemeanor, I'm on a $1000.00 bond and now I have to hire an attorney.  My next court date is March 24th @ 10:00 a.m.  Besides this, I have elderly parents (87 and 86 yrs) who I spend a few days a week in Bay City cleaning house, groceries, doctors etc.  My social security check hasn't arrived this month yet.  I'm afraid, I have little money, and I have to be available for my parents (not 90 days in jail).

    I'm open to any suggestions.

    Thank you

Yes, don't bother with the truth.  Use the Saul Alinsky approach that the ends justify the means regardless of how corrupt the means are.  You know, the approach used by the progressive left.

Besides, if we can save just one innocent deer, it's worth the lives whatever humans get in the way.

You're kidding right?  I don't support the ban on feeding but if you think the heard is wiped out, you need to take a drive through the southern third of the state.
