It is really sad that our government will take from the people who really serve our state (state workers) because they claim the state doesn't have any money but wants to give themselves a hugh incentive. I think this is criminal and should be investigated. The people of the State of Michigan should have a right to vote on this insentive not just legislatures. Where is this money coming from? If the State is so broke no one should get anything!!!! Whatever happened to the Constitution of the United States (that states for the people) when legislators can make any law or statue to satisfy their own needs. That is not in the best interest of the people. Why has the media not reported on this issue?
Looks like some people see the handwriting on the wall for November and are sweetening their going away vigorish. Hopefully we can get rid of them before they can pass this bill. If the bill passes, we should show the door to all who voted for it.
