 Ahh, yes. Following Obamas' transparency in government lead.   Why is this bill needed? Who was harmed by not having it in the past and what new conditions make the secrecy necessary for future projects?

 I would like to know also why is this bill important?  Are there secret things the public should be made aware of that the Representatives know? Why would Rep. Ed Clemente want to prohibit the Michigan State Housing Development from disclosing certain trade secrets, commercial, financial and proprietary information. Also, including the projects receiving MSHDA in this bill........Something is going on and we would like to know what it is........!!!!  This information should be free to the citizens of the US and of Michigan as it involves us.

Cronyism. They don't want you to know who's screwing you out of your taxes on these feel good projects and want to hide the true cost. The fact that this was sponsored by a Democrat was no surprise. The fact that so many republicans signed on is a surprise. It looks like it's house cleaning time again in 2012.
