Rep. Agema, having reserved the right to explain his protest against the passage of the bill, made the following statement:
“Mr. Speaker and members of the House:
I’m sick of us picking winners and losers. At the expense of other
businesses we give tax breaks to those we select. While I support
energy efficient programs, someone else pays when we select one over
the other.”
