This plate is miss used so much, I have seen it used for employees for personal use at auto auctions, what it is 20 dollars and you have a plate. It should be a pay per transit use per car with auctions. Or they can contact a car hauler. A car dealer has a use for it in selling a car.I can see them having one. They should exlude auctions from this plate. when a car is purchased at an auction it is not test driven it is sold as is.

to car dealers. demo's are a salesman's perk.

you sell enough cars, you get a demo to use as you will.

you're SUPPOSED to be showing it to people, but usually it just gets taken to the store, and out to eat occasionally. yes, it helps to sell cars.

is it RIGHT? that's up to the guy who owns the car, the dealer.

does it cost the state anything? no.

does it harm the citizens? no. it's been happening since the first demo was given out in 1919.

by the way, boat, rv, and aircraft dealers also give demos.

it's a way of doing business that the government has no business messing with.

there is no safety issue, or public issue here at all. only jealosy.

michigan constitution,  article 1. Sec. 6.

Every person has a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of himself and the state.
