 The republican school voucher system is a scam and only an indirect tax cut for the rich !!

HERES how it works.............

The rich guys kid is ALREADY in private school ...... so......he gets a VOUCHER.

The regular working  guy CANT afford to pay $10,000 for private school for each of his kids, he CANT write a check !!!
And so will not be able to use his  "Voucher".

So at the end of the year, the rich guy gets to use his "VOUCHER" and he gets all the money he spent on private school reimbursed to him.

BUT where is it "reimbursed" from ??    The public school.

SO the regular guys kid is STUCK at the public school BUT now its even worse cuz they have even LESS money for the the public school system.

the vouchers are NOT REIMBURSED OUT OF SCHOOL MONEY, THEY ARE REIMBURSED OUT OF THE TAXPAYER'S MONEY.

now, how much more DEMOCRATIC can you get? anyone who asks for a voucher to improve the quality of education for their family gets one.

you are just pissed that people are being given the opportunity to exercise their rights to choose the type and kind of education their children get, instead of the state choosing for them.

 Hello... I  have been trying to find information on the school voucher... can you tell me how i might go about receiving this type of voucher.. is it for any grade.. are their many qualifications to meet? Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.

<the 'regular guy' doesn't have to write a check for ten grand, the 'regular guy' just puts in for a voucher for the private school, the 'regular guy' gets to use some of his OWN tax money to pay for what he considers a SUPERIOR EDUCATION. no, it isn't FAIR to the public schools, but then again, public schools aren't fair to the parents who want to give their children the best education they can afford.>

Why do you lefties hate children? If you don't kill them in the womb you sentence them to a life sentence in the public school system as fodder for the teachers unions.

I say

Most kids in private schools aren't rich. Most are middle class kids whose parents want them to do well. All I want is part of the money that goes down the black hole we call schools so that my kids can have a better chance.

It is reimbursed from the taxes that are taken from me.

The regular guy would pull his kid out of the public indoctrination center real quick if he could even get half of what they say they spend per kid at the public school.

The only reason to fight vouchers is that you either hate kids, love teachers unions and their lackies or are afraid too many kids would end up in church schools and get some morals which would be the  death of the democrat/socialist party within one generation.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sounds like blue and his buddies want everything handed to them.  Bring back family values /morals-parents and caregivers start holding themselves and their children responsible and people may be surprised at how many children actually succeed in life............

School vouchers are simply another entitlement and wealth transfer program concocted by social planners.

The truly conservative thing to do, when it comes to public school finance, is to tax families with offspring up to age 26 (which is the cutoff for public schooling obligations) and relieve everyone else of school tax burdens.  This would have enormous societal benefits in many ways.

the TRULY conservative thing to do is ALLOW EVERY FAMILY TO DECIDE WHERE THEIR CHILD WILL ATTEND SCHOOL, and pay tuition to that school.

the government need not be involved.

that way, the finest schools would succeed, and the poorest schools would fail. no government interference artificially propping up mediocre schools in the name of FAIRNESS.

if every kid's parents paid tuition to their chosen school, they would increase the DIRECT FUNDING OF THEIR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, and decrease the 'so much per student, but some students get more' mentality of the current regime.

lets see....

the first PUBLIC school was established by a RELIGIOUS LEADER, IN HIS PRIVATE HOME.

i wonder if his puritanical views were tought in the curriculum?

so much for the left's idea of the public school system as being PERFECT. why should taxpayers be forced to pay double the cost for an inferior product?
