Introduced in the House on November 6, 2008, to impose state regulation on the terms of commercial relationships between recreational vehicle manufacturers, wholesalers, warrantors, and dealers. The terms of these relationships are currently voluntary and are the product of negotiations and contractual agreements between the parties. The bill would authorize the state to enforce certain exclusive dealer “territories” and other commercial relationships, in a manner similar to regulations which apply under current law to new car dealers and manufacturers
The vote was 99 in favor, 4 opposed and 7 not voting
