    blaze orange barriers

such barriers are not available to my knowlege, would blaze orange material of some kind wrapped on the barrier acceptable? the bill would be improved by being more specific in nature and by being more workable

    Bad Idea!

As a hunter I can see an immediate problem with this. When I am sitting in my hunting blind and I see hunter orange I am not going to shoot in that direction. Right now I know that orange means there is another hunter out there. If this bill goes through then I have no way of knowing if it is a hunter or a "barrier" that is across the way from me. If the purpose of this bill is to make "gates" more visible then pick another color like fuschia or yellow. Is this bill really necessary??? Have we had a plethora of people not seeing a "gate" blocking a lane? And if they don't know there is a "gate" there then why are they there? Are we trying to protect trespassers from being hurt by running into closed barriers?

You have to be kidding me .. I will put a chain across my land ,and if you come on my land I will beat your hind end.. This guy is nuts. Hunter Orange.. We need open season on some these stupid elected nuts. I say make this fool wear an orange jump suit and play in the middle of I 75.

I have barb wire all around my land to keep my cattle in.. and if some city slicker or tourist is trespassing and gets his hind end hung up, to bad.. You sure better know the boundary lines, pal.. I think this fool needs to put an orange fence around his beet weeder house ,30 inches high.. This would be to keep this fool on his owe property and protect the rest of us from this fool.

    Great Idea

Incase the opposition has not learned the potentially fatal effects maybe they should take a look around the corner. When I say this... You have no clue why this bill is even being brought up. There was a young man in Baraga County in the Upper Peninsula which stuck a chain while riding his four wheeler. He died because of what happened. If there would have been something to "glow out and say HEY THERES A CHAIN HERE!!" maybe we could have prevented this disaster. If you have a fence that’s a bit easier to see but still you should have some type of safety mechanism incase someone did perhaps ride at night and did not see. You people disgust me when you don't think of others. You all should be ashamed of yourselves and not to mention what if your son/daughter or even loved one died because of some type of chain? I believe you will change your mind if it hit you close to home. Oh and also... Don’t hide who you are... It’s very rude to make yourself hidden to the world, following ridiculous "opposition" remarks.
