    2008 House Bill 6385 (Require GAAP for county financial audits )

    Introduced in the House on August 20, 2008, to revise the audit procedures, standards and duties required by the state for and counties for county government audits. Among other things the bill would require county audits to adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). The bill essentially updates the statute to reflect actual current practice

    The vote was 107 in favor, 0 opposed and 3 not voting
