    Poor Michigan

Passing this bill would not only bring new tax money to Michigan, but more job opportunities as well. Silly we have to travel to Ohio every year to buy fireworks. People are currently and will continue to travel to Ohio to purchase fireworks anyway. Michigan may as well capitalized on it.

    But The Mommy Government

    Happy July 4th to all

Here's wishing a happy July 4th to everyone, regardless of your position on this issue. Grandma Jenny is looking to fleece you for every penny you have, so enjoy it while you can. I think there should be a real fireworks celebration when she is finally outta there, either by recall or term limits. As bad as Engler was, he was nowhere this incompetent.

    ban them all

Here in Ohio people that buy fireworks are ignorant, obnoxious people who think there is nothing wrong with lighting off fireworks a week before and after independence day. It's an excuse to act like asses. They could care less if it's after midnight and their neighbors are trying to sleep. I wish the police would do their job and enforce Ohio fireworks law or at the very least these pyromaniacs would blow their fingers off. Grow up you a**holes.
