They probably thought this had something to do with St. Patrick's Day, since on the day this was introduced they were all hamming it up with phoney brogues and such. As if one Celt is the same as another - "Scott, Irish, they all look the same to me." (Well, to me too, but the histories and heritages are miles apart.)

a part-time legislature! If these jokers have enough time to come up with bills such as this then they have too much free time on their hands. Bring back part-time legislators and give US, the taxpayer, a tax break!!

How true. And then lets fix the term limits so that once you are done with one term at the government teat you must go back to the real world.
