Ah, yes, yet another solution in search of a problem. There is no need for every enrolling kindergartener to be screened for color blindness. First of all, it is not an overwhelming problem. I have been teaching for 15 years and I have had only 1 color blind child. Secondly, any good kindergarten teacher would be able to figure out who isn't learning his/her colors and suggest a screening to the parents on an as needed basis. There is no need to screen everyone.
