With all the talk about taxes I think we need to remember that over regulation is killing Michigan as much if not more than the high taxes. If I could sell my business I would.

do we need to "give local governments the same authority the state has" on anything. These guys can't cut money out of the budget but come up with this crap?

Why on earth would townships want to be involved in regulating the sub-prime rate; that seems to be way above thier scope of responsibility.
