    Rep. Hoogendyk for Governor!

Given the constant tendency of the legislature to overspend taxpayer's money, this is a great idea. If we had more people like Hoogendyk and Hune, in the Ron Paul mode, this wouldn't be needed. If a tax is essential and all agree, then it passes. Citizens still get a direct veto policy as a last check.

    Good Idea

Sounds like a great idea to me. For a change the people will have the right to decide whether a tax is good or not.

    Hey Jenny

A Japanese doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in six weeks." A German doctor says, "That is nothing. We can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in four weeks." A British doctor says, "In my country medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have both of them out looking for work in two weeks." The Canadian doctor, not to be outdone, interjected, "You guys are way behind. We took a woman with no brains, sent her to Michigan where she became Governor, and now half the state is out looking for work." ------

    All in favor say "I"

"I" That's a great idea and many will support Rep. Hoogendyk. Thanks Rep. Hoogendyk for leading the way on this. The obstructionist will no doubt offer opposition, but hold fast! IF necessary, get it to the people! We appreciate you more than you know! A constituent!

    Hold the line on taxes

Rep Hoogendyk is my new hero. Now lets reintroduce a bill to modify the headlee ammendment so that as the property values go down so will the property taxes. I don't know how politicians run their business, but if I don't have any money I don't spend money.

Excellent - and long over due!

Thank you to Representative Jacob Hoogendyk for his excellent House Joint Resolution. I am very appreciative of any representative who looks out for the taxpayers best interests. Especially, a representative who places the taxpayers above the interests of government's bureaucracies and their lobbyists who seem to be able to reach our representatives through their cell phones while they are convened on the floor. It would be nice if the grassroots were given the same opportunities that the well-paid lobbyists are afforded.

    Thanks for the effort Jack!

Nice try, but I won't hold my breath waiting for this one to pass. Way too many foxes in the hen house.
