    Get Real!

This is more of rearrangement of the deck chairs while the Titanic is sinking! Is this a problem? I doubt it! It is the democrats that want to make sure that no tax slips by them!

I thought we were trying to encourage higher education

...that it would be the saving grace for our State...drawing more companies to our State due to a well rounded and well educated work force. This just flies in the face of that! Yes, get real!

    how is a savings plan

that only allows the money to be spent on public education going to save this state? this plan would only pump more money into the woefully inadequate public school system, forcing it to become even more inadequate. the saving grace to this plan would be to allow the citizens to decide where their educational money would be spent, and how. it IS their money after all. yes, some of them would make bad decisions, but this law forces ALL of us to make the bad decision of exclusive public school use.
