Sen. Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, will be in Pontiac and Detroit on Wednesday, the same day presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain begins a two-day swing through Michigan. The Michelle Obama event "A Discussion with Michigan Women” will be held at the Crofoot at 1 South Saginaw in Pontiac, with doors opening at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday. It’s free and open to the public, but space is limited. So tickets are required. Tickets will be available Tuesday – on a first-come, first-served basis at the Crofoot until they run out. For security reasons, do not bring bags to the event and no signs or banners will be permitted.
