And how are the Mom and Pop restaurants going to know accurate calories counts? Is there going to be the food police going around verifying the numbers are correct? And what if they are wrong, will they be sued out of existence because some tofu munching bunny hugger got a wild hair you know where? What ever happened to personal responsibility? The double quarter pounder and greasy fries is not a healthy choice if you are already overweight. And if exercise to you means lifting the remote for the TV set, then looking at a calorie count is the least of your worries. Let's not make feel good nanny state laws that are impossible to enforce.

I'm sure some supporter of this crap has considered that and is supporting it as a result. Less mom and pops means less competition. That's the way regulation always works.

This will get more business out of this state and then you can implement your ignorant little government controled socialist nirvana. What we need are more stupid rules. Some business owners are so stubborn that they are still trying to make it here. Put more mandates, fees, rules, taxes, and petty little bull excrement into law and lets get rid of the last of the rock headed business owners.

I have to say, I agree with these people. Why the heck waste time focusing on this piece of legislation when there are issues like the war in Iraq to be dealt with?
