    Specifically which "evil" are you attempting to remedy with this little nugget? What, EXACTLY, do you mean by "familial status"? I'm sure that I'll oppose whatever it is you're attempting to do, but I can't be specific until there is clarification.

    Concurrence with Need of Definition

    Please amend to include a uniform statutory definition of "familial status". As it currently is read, the vagueness leaves the door open to legal challenges. Let's further the economy of the courts and future legislative initiatives by adopting, not just a theoretical understanding, but a universal definition. Fragmented rulemaking is what allows the state's governmental machine to be dysfunctional, as demonstrated in the affairs of child welfare One cannot enforce the provisions of what is not understood.
