With the minor exception of twins doing the exact same manual labor, the very idea of "comparable work" is impossible. Each individual brings a unique basket of talents and abilities to every unique job. It is impossible for some outside agency or court to determine some kind of comparable work standard in this situation. The only fair assessment is the market. People agree to work for whatever they agree to work for. If they accept it, it is fair. If they don't, then they go elsewhere.

that's because they are. Just do what your good nanny government agent tells you. "When will our esteemed legislators understand the workings of a free market" never. It doesn't work as well for them as forced income redistribution

These people are representing us? Have they lost their minds! I think we need to go back to only letting property owners vote because the whoever is voting these nuts into office do not have a clue.

on the head. When you let people vote that have no property or anything else of value they will always vote for whoever will promise the most free stuff. Without this voting bloc the dem/socialists would blow away like dust in Kansas.
