    It about time

I have a son who is serving time for CSC. His crime, being corhereced by a 13 year who passed her self as 18 (go figure, in this day and age, can't imagine it) yet he is considered a baby raper, when in reality it's what I call a Romeo & Juliet crime, far cry from a pedophile. We need to have this information posted as it really makes a difference regarding a person whole life of registering for CSC.

    this state cares little

for justice if a 'girl' can 'pass herself off as 18' and get away with lying just to put a young man in jail. by the way, SHAME ON YOUR SON for believing ANYTHING that comes from a female mouth. this is AMPLE proof that they CANNOT BE TRUSTED, not a single one. ESPECIALLY JENNIE.

    SEX OFFENDER

Thank you for finally some sense of checks and balances. I am a sex offender, I pled no contest to CSC-4 in 2002 and have tried very hard to move on with my life. I have worked full time for five years and would like very much to live the remainder of my life as a productive member of society. Laws should protect but also should not detroy any chance at rehabilitation. I hear the media say if we can save just one childs life, at what cost? Is it okay to destroy a hundred sex offenders and a hundred of their children to save one innocent childs life? If this is true should'nt a once convicted drunk driver never get the chance to kill your child? How about drug dealing? What about people who burn their kids or beat them? I patted a fanny while drunk and I can't move on. The folks that leave their children in the hot car and kill them serve their time and get to move on. Will there ever be enough sex offender laws? Sex offenses will never be totally stopped, crime will always happen. Please feel free to make common sense laws. By the way sex offenders can't speak to congress or senate so the only representative that they have is the media so media please be aware and fair.

    offenders registry

WE ALL KNOW THAT AS A SOCIETY WE ARE TOO STUPID ON OUR OWN BUT THANK GOD WE HAVE POLITICIANS TO HELP!THEY HAVE MANAGED TO CREATE A WHOLE NEW CLASS OF CRIMINALS WITH THE SEX OFFENDERS REGISTRY.ITS NOT ENOUGH TO BE JUST A PLAIN OLE FELON NOW THEY MUST PAY WITH THERE HOMES FAMILIES AND ANY OTHER THING THE GOVERNMENT SEES FIT TO TAKE AWAY. WHO WILL FIND THESE PEOPLE JOBS AND PAY FOR THERE UPKEEP? WHY YOU AND ME AS TAX PAYERS OF COURSE.WHAT LITTLE ACTUAL RESEARCH THAT HAS BEEN DONE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT CHILDREN ARE AT RISK FOR SEXUAL ATTACKS NOT BY STRANGERS BUT THEIR OWN FAMILY MEMBER OR FAMILY FRIEND. SO WHOS CHECKING ON THOSE PEOPLE. MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL BE ON A LIST AS A POSSIBLE THREAT!!

    Sex Offenders

My son was 15 when he offended, There was a plea agreement which would not make him a registered sex offender if he did not get into sny trouble sorry to say he was caught with ciggaretts and he was under age so they withdrew his plea agreement of gross indecency and made it a CSC second which carries a life time register. His sex theripist & his probatation officer all said he was not a risk to any one but that did not matter they were wiling to go to court and put their name on the line... it was all in vain. The proscuter stood up there and LIED but she has the upper hand, after all who would you believe a law abiding proscuter or a 15 year old boy. We have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars only to be schuffled around in the courts. We will NEVER GIVE UP ... A JUVENILE is NOT AN ADULT . HE HAS NEVER ACTED OUT IN ANY WAY SINCE AND HE IS NOW 22. The laws MUST be changed. A private register for non violent offenders which the Police dept can access would be acceptable. If anyone cares to check juveniles have an EXTREAMLEY low rate of residisim. If we are going to have a sex offender register I would also like to know WHO IS DRIVING DRUNK, AFTER ALL MY BROTHER WAS KILLED BY A DRUNK DRIVER ...HOW ABOUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE A VIOLENT HISTORY .... AND WHAT ABOUT DRUG CHARGES ....
