    Learning from others

I am very respectful of life. If this testing is done in a respectful manner and will help lessen the pain and suffering of our citizens, why can't we learn from others? These unwanted citizens are being thrown away and dumped in the trash. Why not let them be a part of someone's life when the world they were a part of didn't want them? Help them have value and worth, don't let them be forgotten.

    Dignity & right to live

Human embryos obtained in vitro are human beings and are subjects with rights; their dignity and right to life must be respected from the first moment of their existence. It is immoral to produce human embryos destined to be exploited as disposable “biological material.

    Wacko

To imbue fetuses with the same rights as viable human beings – to make potential the equivalent of reality – is insane. Bills like this one only foster irrational beliefs.

    What is the intent?

Is this appeal to the conservative right wing by confusing right-to-life issues with research using human tissue. The wording is ambiguous to the true intent. I consider it a waste of tax dollars to deliberate this.

    "UNWANTED CITIZENS"???

if they are 'useless bits of tissue', and are of no consequence anyway, why do you refer to them as "citizens"? a "citizen" has rights, whether they are wanted or not. it is this 'unwanted citizen' attitude that kept women from voting and blacks enslaved. the question was asked 'at what point do you give 'potential' citizenship. the answer is "as soon as the 'useless bit of tissue' has the potential to grow up to be a citizen." and not a second later.

    Please don't use these babies

Please don't use these babies. It may seem like "putting them to good use" but it's so wrong

    Good for you Mr. Caul

Good for you Mr. Caul and Mr. Moolenaar. It's refreshing to read something that has a little morality to it. Finally a voice that speaks for mine! I hope you have more to say in the future that is protective of our society
