Did you see on TV where Halloween vampire teeth had 100 times allowed LEAD?

I hope this bill passes. I think the teeth were made in China as I recall.

Holy cow, Batman! They STILL haven't banned lead in toys? What gives?

Having parents go to the trouble of screening "up to 3" toddler toys by channel 8 news is nice and all, but I hope government steps in to prevent the problem from happening in the first place.

This lead protection bill seems like a no-brainer. Hope it passes.

What with all the recalls. Recalls are too late if a child has suffered brain damage.

    you CAN'T ban toys

with lead. everything with a battery contains lead. your ipod contains lead. the GOOD news is, lead can't hurt you if you don't eat it. teach your kids not to chew on their toys.

Comment below: stupidest thing I have EVER heard about lead. Good bill.

Perhaps the poster below chewed on lead when he/she was little. It would explain a great deal. perhaps you

chewed on lead as a child. perhaps your union painter used union supplied paint to paint your union built project, it peeled, and you ate it. it must have been better than the union supplied grub you were fed.

    so, just exactly

how do you THINK you get lead poisoning? do you think it comes from JUST TOUCHING LEAD? do you think it comes from BREATHING LEAD FUMES? do you think it is because lead gives off some MYSTERIOUS FORM OF RADIATION? i'd like to hear how YOU think you get lead poisoning.

    the 'lead bogeyman'

must believe that mere mention of the word LEAD will lead thousands of your brain cells to simply curl up and die. i notice that our 'lead bogeyman' refuses to stop typing on his computer, even though it has nearly a pound of lead involved in it's manufacture, including lead pigment in the paint used to mark the letters on the keyboard. so, lead must not be as big of a threat as he is trying to get us to believe. or is he just immune to it's effects? maybe he comes from a far-away planet with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal man.
