Introduced in the Senate on September 7, 2006, to expand the state's central registry of serious child abuse cases to also include less serious cases ("category III" cases.) The categories are described here.) Inclusion in the central registry triggers more intense investigation and monitoring by the state

    Central Registry

The only thing missing is due process od actually being placed on the registry. But this is a wonderful piece of legislation for the state. Once a parent is listed, with no chance of removal in administrative hearings..which of course would be an admission od violation of constitutional due process, the parent is deemed and doomed to a life of social services, now with timelimits, never being able to provide for the children. Bravo to sustainability of the system A standing ovation for a continuance in lack of accountability. A magnificent gesture in keeping with tradition of usurping the rights of parents and hiding the errors of social workers. Brilliant and effective legislation protecting malfeasance of DHS!. Perhaps someone will introduce a bill that allows criminal charges to be assigned to state actors. But that will never happen, as we all well know.
